AC/R Service Technician

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implements proper corrective measures when attending to emergency calls to eliminate frequent trouble calls and satisfy the client’s requirements
• Fixes immediately the defects noted or any unit if the condition so warrants
• Advises his immediate superior regarding problems encountered in his job and advises the latter to prevent the recurrence of defects
• Delivery of billing statements and service invoices when needed
• Follows up on AC/R outstanding collections for service and installation
• Safekeeps and maintains condition of basic tools required in the performance of his job
• Implements regular servicing of A/C units with contracts and units under warranty to satisfy the clients and contract provision and prevent untimely shutdown of units
• Performs replacement of essential parts found during troubleshooting
• Prepares and submits reports to his superior immediately after conducting inspections or performing service maintenance to clients
• Adheres to IEE quality policy and quality objectives of AC/R QAA & Service Department
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the superior from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of a Vocational or Trade school in air conditioning and refrigeration
• Must have at least two (2) years of experience in air conditioning and refrigeration, or at least 60 units in engineering
• Preferably with TESDA NCII Certification
• Must know how to read electrical drawings and can interpret AC/R Systems
• Must be able to analyze and diagnose basic AC/R system trouble
