Job Summary

We are seeking passionate and energetic instructors to lead Acting Lessons that inspire creativity, confidence, and expressive skills in learners of all ages. In this role, you will design engaging curricula, foster a supportive environment for students to explore their theatrical talents, and develop their performance abilities. Whether working with children, teens, or adults, you will help students unlock their potential through dynamic acting techniques, improvisation exercises, and scene work. Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive lesson plans tailored to different age groups and skill levels, focusing on acting techniques, improvisation, character development, and stage presence
• Manage classroom environments effectively to ensure safety, engagement, and respectful interactions among students
• Guide students through acting exercises that enhance emotional expression, voice projection, body language, and stage movement
• Incorporate creative arts elements such as choreography, dance instruction, or musical performance when relevant to lesson plans
• Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their acting skills and build confidence in their performances
• Organize and oversee rehearsals for student performances or showcases, fostering teamwork and discipline
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs

Skills

• Proven experience in teaching arts such as theater, acting, dance (including ballet), or musical theater
• Strong background in curriculum development and lesson planning for creative arts instruction
• Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to motivate diverse learners of all ages
• Experience working with children and youth programs, including early childhood education or preschool settings
• Knowledge of choreography, dance instruction, and theatrical performance techniques
• Ability to teach visual & performing arts alongside other creative disciplines like photography or sewing when applicable
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies and childhood development principles
• Skilled in working with students on special education needs or those requiring tailored instructional approaches

Pay: $5.00 - $31.39 per hour
