Active directory migration Professional

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Active Directory domain migration and consolidation activities.
• Migrate users, groups, computers, service accounts, and security groups from source domain to target domain.
• Perform AD object migration while maintaining permissions and access.
• Configure and troubleshoot Domain Controllers and Active Directory services.
• Perform DNS migration and troubleshoot DNS-related issues.
• Perform DHCP migration and configuration, if required.
• Perform DFS/DFS-R migration and validate replication.
• Perform File Server migration and preserve NTFS/share permissions.
• Perform Print Server migration , including printers, drivers, queues, and permissions.
• Perform Windows Server role and service migration .
• Support hardware refresh/migration activities for Windows servers.
• Perform server cutover, validation, and post-migration support.
• Troubleshoot AD replication, DNS, Group Policy, authentication, and login issues .
• Perform Group Policy migration and validate GPO application.
• Verify migrated users, computers, applications, services, and access after migration.
• Coordinate migration activities with application, network, security, and other infrastructure teams.
• Prepare migration plans, checklists, implementation documents, and rollback plans.
• Provide L2 support for migration-related incidents and issues.
