POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of the Activities Aide is to assist residents who are functionally, physically, and/or socially impaired and need 24-hour oversight with Activities, both internal and external, and all other duties as assigned. This can include transporting residents to events in the community as well.

• Must be polite and respectful, responsive to resident needs and requests at all times.
• Must be able to work effectively with all types of people and be teamoriented.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Must be able to handle loads, up to 40 pounds.
• Must have a valid and unencumbered NYS Driver License.
• All applicants must successfully pass a physical, drug screen, and background check.
