Activities Aide

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Must have a valid driver's license or PA identification card.

-Must read, write, and speak English.

-Evidence of good physical and mental health.

-Physically able to perform direct care functions as may be required including lifting, transferring of a resident and pushing wheelchairs.

-Must be willing work stated times as times as well have a flexible scheduled.

-Caring and compassionate. Must abide by Whitehall Manor personnel policies.

-Must follow all Personal Care Regulations 2600 Guidelines. Must be certified in CPR, First Aid and AED training.

Abilities:

-Encourages and motivates residents to participate in programs designed to provide physical, cognitive, spiritual, social and recreational stimulation.

• Assists in planning, preparing, promoting and facilitating assigned activities.

-Assist in maintaining with money management when on outings on an as needed basis.

-Helps residents with money management when on outings on an as needed basis.

-Encourages families and staff to participate in activities with residents

Job Type: Full time/ Part-time.
