Activities Co-ordinator

Ashgate House provides nursing and residential care services for 47 residents with late-stage dementia and associated complex care needs. We are recruiting a caring and motivated Activities Coordinator to join our dedicated team.

• Must be flexible to work between the hours of 8am and 7pm
• Free training including Care Certificate, Dementia and Challenging Behaviour training (Dementia Interpreter & Virtual Dementia Tour), QCF(NVQ) and Train the Trainer.

Essentials

• Excellent communication skills
• Provide high levels of care and support to our residents
• Work alternating weekends
• Well motivated
• Enthusiastic
• Good sense of humour

Desirable

• Experience of working in a Dementia/Nursing Home setting
• DBS on the update service
• QCF Level 2 or above in health and social care - or equivalent
