Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Activities Co-ordinator to join our team at Winsh Residential Care Home in GB. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by organizing engaging activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement a variety of engaging activities tailored to the needs of elderly residents.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation.
• Collaborate with care staff to assess residents' interests and abilities.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities, making adjustments as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of activities and resident participation.
• Promote social interaction among residents through group activities.
• Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations.
• Support residents in participating in community events when appropriate.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience in assisted living, residential/nursing home, or senior care environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop creative and engaging activity programs.
• Compassionate with a genuine interest in elderly well-being.
• Knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer's care is highly desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet residents' changing needs.

Pay: £14.86 per hour
