Activities Co-ordinator

Coombes Wood House is a care home for people with dementia, we require an outgoing person to arrange and engage our residents with daily activities. We currently have a team of 6 activities coordinators and would like to increase our staffing to maintain our aim to have 12 hours of activities between the times of 8am-8pm.

Shifts are usually 6 hour shifts for example;

8am-2pm

9am-3pm

10am-4pm

12pm-6pm

2pm-8pm

shift patterns can be flexible.

Staff are expected to do their fair share of evening shifts.

Alternate weekends.

Your shift will consist of providing group activities such as Bingo, crafts, baking, Arm chair exercises, word games, movies and singing.

One to one sessions, chatting, reminiscing and reading a book.

We can be flexible on the contracted hours offered for example 12, 16, 18, 24 hours per week.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.63-£14.03 per hour
