What You'll Do

As our Activities Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by planning and leading engaging activities that promote social interaction, mental stimulation, and overall well-being. Your creativity and enthusiasm will help foster a vibrant and welcoming environment. Here’s a glimpse of what your day-to-day might look like:

• Develop and implement a variety of activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
• Coordinate group events, individual activities, and special celebrations.
• Collaborate with staff and families to ensure activities meet the needs of all residents.
• Maintain an activities calendar and communicate upcoming events to residents and their families.
• Encourage resident participation and adapt activities as needed to ensure inclusivity.
• Keep track of supplies and ensure materials are available for planned activities.

What We're Looking For

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual with a heart for working with seniors. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Creativity and the ability to think on your feet.
• A positive attitude and a passion for enriching the lives of others.
• The ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when needed.
