Activities Co-ordinator Location: Riverwell Beck Care Home, Durdar Road, Blackwell

Pay Rate: £13.66 per hour

Hours: 12 hours per week

Are you friendly, compassionate and creative? As an Activities Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in the lives of our residents, helping to make every day meaningful and joyful. Ideally, we are looking for someone to have care experience, but we know people from other walks of life can become the very best in this type of role - so whether you’ve done this before or are just starting out, we’ll be with you every step of the way with all the training and support you need.

What You’ll Do At Riverwell Beck resident wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. You’ll work alongside an incredible team who share your passion for making life special for the people in our care.

In this fast-paced role, no two days are the same. You will:

• Get to know each resident personally, building their life stories into meaningful activities.
• Plan and deliver a fun and varied calendar of group activities, one-to-one moments and special events.
• Motivate and encourage residents to join in with activities that enhance social, emotional and physical wellbeing.
• Support residents to maintain strong connections with family, friends and the local community.
• Take photos of events for newsletters and social media.
