Pay: $75,000 - $85,000 per year

About the Opportunity

Quantum Care Place of El Dorado Hills is seeking an Activity Director to lead meaningful programming, entertainment, engagement, and resident-contentment initiatives in our new assisted living community.

Responsibilities

• Plan monthly events, activity calendars, flyers, community-news materials, resident council meetings, family events, and birthday celebrations.
• Encourage residents to maintain and develop their fullest potential for independent living through activities and recreational programs.
• Coordinate volunteers, activity supplies, entertainment, decorating, and special events within an approved budget.
• Complete daily activity and attendance documentation according to policy.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, outside agencies, and community partners.
• Maintain clean and orderly activity spaces and report observed facility or resident-apartment concerns.
• Provide one-to-one interaction for residents who do not attend group activities.
• Follow infection-control, emergency, fire, missing-person, safety, and disaster procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Degree in recreational therapy or at least two years of senior-living experience preferred.
• Current Food Handler’s Permit and First Aid/CPR certification, or ability to obtain required credentials within the facility’s timeframe.
• Required health screening and immunization documentation, subject to applicable California requirements.
• Positive, encouraging, organized, and able to motivate residents to participate.
• Strong communication, budgeting, documentation, event-planning, and teamwork skills.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
