Activities Director

Abbington Village, an 82 bed skilled nursing facility, is in need of an energetic and friendly Activity Director Assistant

Responsibilities Include:

• Carry out planned activity programs in assigned area.
• Complete documentation including daily participation sheets.
• Follow established departmental policies and procedures including dress code.
• Report all concerns and/or complaints to the Activity Director or Administrator.
• Attend activity staff meetings.
• Motivate residents to participate in planned activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school education or equivalent.
• Willing to become a Certified Activity Director or already certifed
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, personnel, government agencies and the public.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour
