Located in Titusville, NJ, the Skilled Nursing Facility is dedicated to providing a comprehensive and compassionate approach to rehabilitation. Our mission is to create a supportive environment that fosters recovery, healing, and growth for our patients. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Activities Director to join our team and help shape the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive activities program that enhances the quality of life for our residents, including therapeutic recreational activities, social events, and community outings
• Collaborate with rehabilitation staff to design and implement activities that support patient care goals and objectives
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and staff to support activity programs
• Implement and maintain records of activities, including attendance, participation, and restorative activities
• Develop and manage department budget and ensure efficient use of resources
• Identify and address resident concerns, needs, and preferences to ensure a high level of satisfaction
• Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure excellence in services

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in activities direction or a related field
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid regulations and standards
• Basic knowledge of activity programming and recreation therapy principles
