Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour

About the Opportunity

Quantum Care Place of El Dorado Hills is seeking a positive, encouraging Activity Assistant to help residents connect, participate, and maintain independence through meaningful activities and social engagement.

Responsibilities

• Support socialization, independent-living, physical, and community activities in partnership with the Activity Director.
• Encourage participation and provide activities identified in each resident’s service plan.
• Work with volunteers and involve care staff in group activities when appropriate.
• Maintain activity supplies, contribute ideas to the monthly calendar, and follow the scheduled activity program.
• Complete daily activity and attendance documentation accurately.
• Provide one-to-one visits and interaction for residents who are not attending group activities.
• Leave activity areas clean, orderly, and ready for the next program.
• Support special events that may require different days or hours than the regular schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Current Food Handler’s Permit or ability to obtain one within the facility’s required timeframe.
• Required health screening and immunization documentation, subject to applicable California requirements.
• Positive, encouraging, and motivating approach with older adults.
• Strong communication, dependability, professionalism, and ability to work with families, vendors, volunteers, and team members.
• Ability to participate in monthly in-service training and complete required documentation.
