We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and creative Part-Time Activity Aide to help enrich the daily lives of our residents. In this role, you will help create meaningful opportunities for socialization, recreation, engagement, and personal expression while fostering a welcoming environment where every resident feels valued and included.

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in a social, recreational, or activities program, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate, positive, and resident-focused attitude
• Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic approach to engaging residents
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Dependable, organized, and able to follow established policies and procedures

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate group and individual activities based on residents’ needs, interests, abilities, and preferences as identified through assessments and care plans
• Encourage and support resident participation in daily activities, programs, and special events
• Assist with planning, organizing, and maintaining the monthly activity calendar
• Help prepare activity supplies, materials, and spaces
• Provide encouragement and positive interaction with residents during activities
• Complete required documentation and recordkeeping in accordance with facility policies and procedures
• Support Resident Council activities and assist with scheduling and facilitating monthly meetings
• Collaborate with members of the care team to promote resident engagement and quality of life
• Follow and maintain established facility policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Promote a positive, engaging, respectful, and inclusive environment for all residents
