Activity Assistant

The Activity Assistant supports planning, preparing, and facilitating meaningful activities for residents. This position promotes inclusive opportunities for socialization, self-expression, recreation, and daily engagement, while tailoring programs to residents’ interests, abilities, preferences, and support needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience working in an assisted living setting.
• Ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Experience adapting activities for varied cognitive, sensory, physical, or communication needs.
• Invite residents to participate in planned activities and provide reminders as needed.
• Willingness to work a flexible full-time schedule, including weekends.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of the program and meet residents' needs.
• The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, genuine compassion, and a caring, patient nature. They must have at least 2 years of experience working in memory care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
