Activity Coordinator

Careconcepts Ltd are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team and make a real difference to the lives of our residents.

About the Role

You will be responsible for planning, organising, and delivering a varied programme of meaningful activities that promote wellbeing, independence, and social interaction for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging daily activities tailored to residents’ abilities and interests
• Encourage participation and support residents to remain active and socially connected
• Organise group activities, one-to-one sessions, and special events
• Work closely with care staff to ensure activities support individual care plans
• Maintain activity records and risk assessments in line with CQC standards
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and the wider community

What We’re Looking For

• A caring, positive, and creative personality
• Experience in an activities role (desirable but not essential)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and engage residents of varying needs
• Organised, reliable, and flexible approach
• Understanding of dementia care (desirable)
