Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop, plan, and organize a program of activities to meet the interests and needs of each resident
• Create and facilitate therapeutic groups to support optimal rehabilitation and health of residents
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for residents
• Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans for residents
• Assist with resident assessments and provide emotional support to residents and their families

Requirements:

• Must be a Certified Activity Director or have previous experience as an Activity Director in long-term care or assisted living facility in the last 5 years.
