What they need

Description

As an Activity Professional, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the physical, emotional, and social development of children aged 4 to 11 through a variety of engaging activities across breakfast clubs, after-school sessions, holiday courses, wraparound care and extracurricular clubs. Whether you're providing an energising start to the day, leading a weekly tennis club, or creating a supportive environment where children can grow in confidence over time, you’ll be helping shape positive childhood experiences that last a lifetime.
More than just delivering sessions, you’ll create meaningful opportunities for children to build resilience, form friendships, and develop a lifelong love for movement and activity. This role is ideal for passionate coaches of any sport or activity who are driven by the desire to make a difference.
You’ll be committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment, always upholding the highest safeguarding standards to ensure the wellbeing of every child in your care. Every session is a chance to inspire, uplift, and contribute to a child’s journey - not just for today, but for their future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging, structured activities for children aged 4–11, using the PEPE framework to support individual development and maximise participation.
  • Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and active involvement of all children under your supervision.
  • Provide age-appropriate personal or intimate care where necessary, following Premier Education’s safeguarding and care policies.
  • Promote Premier Education’s wider offerings (e.g. clubs, camps, courses) to children, parents, and school stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with school staff to identify opportunities for upselling new clubs, wraparound care, and holiday provision.
  • Adapt sessions in real-time based on pupil behaviour and progress, catering to varied needs, abilities, and learning styles.
  • Provide additional support to children requiring help to fully participate, ensuring inclusive practice.
  • Act as a passionate ambassador for Premier Education and advocate for child development and physical activity.
  • Promote positive behaviour and maintain a supportive, encouraging atmosphere for all children.
