Actuarial Intern, Data Analytics and Project

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate data analysis, reporting, modelling, and management information
• Identify and implement practical process improvements using AI, programming, automation, and Excel
• Reduce manual effort, processing time, and error rates in assigned workflows
• Maintain appropriate documentation, data quality, confidentiality, and control standards
• Quickly understand the objectives, processes, systems, and data requirements of multiple teams
• Translate business needs into practical analytical, automation, and AI-enabled solutions
• Map existing workflows and identify opportunities to simplify, standardise, automate, or strengthen controls
• Build and test practical solutions using AI tools, programming, macros, Power Query, and advanced Excel functions, subject to company policies and applicable controls
• Support user acceptance testing, implementation, user guides, training, and post-implementation review

Key Requirements:

• Undergraduate or recent graduate in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline
• Prior internship or project experience in insurance, data analytics, process improvement, automation, or business operations is an advantage but not essential
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or AI tools and programming such as Python, VBA, SQL, or Power Query
• Strong commitment to data confidentiality, governance, and responsible use of technology
• Minimum 3-day work per week. Available to work full-time is preferred.
