Actuarial (Reporting Executive)

Role Purpose: This role supports by delivering high‑quality actuarial analysis, model runs, and reporting outputs. The position requires strong technical execution, adherence to governance standards, and a continuous improvement mindset, while working closely with team members and supporting line managers.

Role and responsibilities:

• Perform operational actuarial tasks including data preparation, data validation, actuarial model runs, results analysis, and report preparation for EV reporting.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of deliverables in accordance with reporting timelines.
• Apply appropriate process controls and checks to ensure robustness and reliability of results.
• Work closely with team members and provide support to line managers in delivering EV reporting requirements.
• Respond to internal queries and support explanations of results and movements as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in actuarial valuation, preferably within life insurance.
• Progress toward actuarial professional qualification (e.g., SOA, IFoA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Experience in EV or financial reporting within an international or regional environment is an advantage.
• Good understanding of own reporting basis, particularly in actuarial valuation and EV concepts.
• Strong analytical ability with the capability to identify anomalies, investigate issues, and clearly explain variances.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail and data quality.
• Positive learning mindset with openness to feedback and guidance.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
