Acumatica Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Acumatica Developer to serve as the technical engine behind our client’s ERP ecosystem. In this role, you will own the architectural design, custom code development, and system integrations that directly power core business functions. You will collaborate closely with functional leads, systems architects, and business stakeholders to turn complex operational demands into clean, maintainable, and high-performance customizations using the Acumatica xRP Framework.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build ERP Customizations: Design, develop, and deploy custom business logic, forms, and workflows using C#, ASP.NET, and the Acumatica xRP Framework (Customization Project Editor and Visual Studio).
• Connect Systems: Engineer, test, and optimize robust REST Contract-based APIs and Web Services (REST/SOAP) to integrate Acumatica with e-commerce platforms, third-party SaaS tools, and external databases.
• Manage Reports & Dashboards: Create and modify complex financial and operational reports using Acumatica Report Designer, Generic Inquiries (GI), and BQL/FBQL queries.
• Maintain CI/CD & Upgrades: Manage release cycles, oversee version upgrades, and handle customization package deployment across multi-tenant sandbox and production environments.
• Troubleshoot & Optimize: Conduct performance tuning, analyze slow BQL queries, debug backend code, and resolve complex application or integration bottlenecks.

What You’ll Need

• Proven Track Record: 5+ years of dedicated hands-on development experience building and extending Acumatica Cloud ERP solutions.
• Core Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in C#, .NET Framework / .NET Core, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
• Framework Expertise: Deep understanding of the Acumatica xRP Framework, BQL (Business Query Language), Fluent BQL, DACs (Data Access Classes), and BLCs (Business Logic Controllers/Graph Extensions).
• Integration Expertise: Strong experience creating and consuming Acumatica REST Contract-based APIs, OData, and web services.
• Reporting Skills: Direct experience writing Generic Inquiries, GI parameters, and utilizing Acumatica Report Designer.

What Will Set You Apart

• Acumatica Certifications: Active Acumatica Technical Developer Certification (e.g., Application Developer / System Developer).
• Cross-ERP Migration Experience: Direct experience migrating legacy ERP platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) onto Acumatica.
• Power Platform & BI: Proficiency in connecting Acumatica with Power BI, Azure Functions, or external middleware/iPaaS tools (e.g., Celigo, Boomi).
• Performance Specialist: Proven experience profiling BQL queries and optimizing high-volume transaction processing within Acumatica.
