Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop tailored acupuncture treatment plans
• Perform acupuncture procedures using sterile needles, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout each session
• Educate patients on post-treatment care, lifestyle adjustments, and complementary therapies to maximize healing outcomes
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including treatment notes and progress reports in accordance with medical terminology standards
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care strategies
• Uphold strict hygiene and safety protocols in all treatment areas to prevent infections or complications
• Stay current with advancements in acupuncture techniques and holistic health practices through ongoing professional development

Experience

• Prior experience working in a clinical setting, preferably within a hospital environment or similar healthcare facility
• Proven ability to deliver compassionate patient care while managing multiple cases efficiently
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to holistic health and acupuncture treatments
• Familiarity with integrating traditional Chinese medicine principles into modern healthcare practices is a plus
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and reassure patients during their treatment journey

Pay: From $36.86 per hour
