Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations, to accurately diagnose conditions related to pain and other health concerns.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing acupuncture, trigger point therapy, herbal medicine techniques, and other TCM modalities.
• Administer acupuncture treatments with strict adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Manage acute pain cases effectively by applying advanced pain management strategies and collaborating with healthcare professionals for integrated care.
• Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR/EHR) of patient visits, treatment progress, and clinical notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and self-care practices to enhance their understanding and engagement in their health journey.
• Stay current with medical terminology, physiology knowledge, anatomy insights, and emerging pain medicine techniques to continually refine your practice.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pain management, including acute pain management and trigger point therapy.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture and holistic health practices.
• Demonstrated ability to perform thorough patient assessments and physical examinations with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR/EHR) management systems for documentation and patient tracking.
• Certification or licensing as an acupuncturist from an accredited program; familiarity with TCM principles is highly desirable.
• Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
