About us
The Acupuncture Studio VT is a growing acupuncture practice nestled between Quechee and Woodstock. We offer acupuncture, cupping, herbal medicine, cosmetic acupuncture, and microneedling. Our programs currently focus on women's health, but we treat a full spectrum of conditions for patients of all ages, genders, and walks of life. Two areas we're looking to expand into are fertility and pediatrics. Every new patient starts with a free consultation, so people arrive knowing what to expect and ready to commit to care. Since moving to a program-based model, we've seen better results, higher patient satisfaction, and deeper, more meaningful relationships with the people we treat. We're looking for a second practitioner who wants to help shape that growth.

How we treat: a hybrid clinic
One of the most fulfilling parts of the studio is that many treatments happen in a shared space, where patients heal alongside one another and experience the subtle benefits of co-regulation in a setting that feels beautiful, quiet, and serene. We pair this shared environment of luxe zero-gravity chairs with individual rooms with treatment tables. Most of our patients are either on hybrid plans that use both settings or are treated only in the shared environment. Very few are seen only in individual rooms. You must be comfortable and confident treating in both settings. This role isn't a fit for someone who wants to treat only in individual rooms.

Who this role is for
This role is a great fit for an experienced acupuncturist who loves treating patients and would rather not run a business. We handle the rent, marketing, scheduling, and admin, and you focus on patient care, including the free consults that fill your schedule. We're looking for someone who wants to put down roots and grow with us over the long term.

• Pain management, including distal acupuncture styles

What you'll do

• Treat patients in both the shared environment and individual rooms. Hours are flexible and built around the clinic schedule, with weekday and weekend shifts available.
• Learn our free consultation process, then lead consults with prospective patients (paid separately)
• Chart, remove needles, and handle the patient care that comes with a busy treatment room
• Help grow the practice through events, outreach, or new services if that interests you

Pay

• Keep 60% of what you bill. At full capacity that averages about $190–215 per billable hour, or roughly $145–160 per hour on site, counting the last hour of end-of-shift needle removal.
• It takes time to build to full volume. For example, at 12 billable hours a week, pay ranges from about $59,000 a year at half capacity to about $117,500 at full capacity, and we'll walk you through realistic earnings at every stage as your schedule grows.
• Paid consults. We'll train you in our consult process first, and patients from consults are booked onto your schedule while you learn. Once you're leading consults, you're paid $50–65 per consult, increasing as you gain volume.
• Malpractice insurance is negotiable, and we're open to covering it once you reach an agreed caseload.
• Other paid work is available outside the treatment room, including events and approved projects.

Our program model means you get to see patients through their entire treatment arc, from the first visit to meaningful results. We've built a system that gives patients more scheduling flexibility and removes the friction that often strains patient relationships: cancellation fees, forgotten bookings, and schedules too full to get in. The result is richer relationships and more rewarding work for you.

We also cover rent, supplies, booking software, card processing, marketing, and front-end admin, and the business pays half of your Social Security and Medicare as your W-2 employer.

Requirements

• Current Vermont acupuncture license, or expected
• 2+ years of clinical experience preferred
• Comfortable treating in both the shared environment and individual rooms
• Warm, clear communicator who enjoys explaining acupuncture to new patients
