Responsibilities

• Provide personalized, high-quality acupuncture treatments tailored to each client's specific wellness needs
• Conduct thorough consultations and assessments based on Traditional Chinese Medicine principles
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating acupuncture, cupping, herbal remedies, and other TCM modalities
• Educate clients on holistic health, treatments, self-care, and spa products
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards in treatment rooms and spa areas
• Actively engage with clients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their wellness journey
• Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology relevant to acupuncture practices.
• Promote ongoing wellness services, encouraging repeat appointments and client referrals
• Collaborate positively with team members and participate in spa events
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

• Current California state license in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and/or DTCM
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (preferred)
• Knowledge and experience in additional holistic modalities such as cupping, moxibustion, herbal medicine, and nutritional counseling
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management abilities
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Experience with MindBody Online or willingness to learn
• A commitment to continuous professional development in acupuncture practices and related fields.
• Comfortable participating occasionally in social media and marketing efforts

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to perform treatments
• Ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs and maintain treatment rooms
• Comfortable working an 8-hour shift, often in close quarters
