Acupuncturist: Maternity Leave Cover (with the view to stay) | Healthspace Mona Vale

Healthspace Mona Vale has been part of the Northern Beaches community since 2011. What started as a small studio on Bungan Street has grown into a multi-disciplinary clinic where Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Massage, Nutrition, Kinesiology and Counselling all work under one roof. Healthspace’s primary focus is to provide a resolution to your concerns as fast as possible, by serving you through a complete and integrated approach. We aim to inspire you to make better health choices and help you along your journey of personal evolution.

We're looking for a warm, skilled Acupuncturist to join our team the from end of November, covering maternity leave for one of our much-loved practitioners. You'll spend time shadowing her before she heads off, so you'll walk in with a real handover, an established patient base, and a team who's got your back from day one. If it's a good fit on both sides, there's genuine scope to stay on with us long-term once she returns.

The right person will also be proactively looking outside of their room to build their practice as well as have the ability to work within a team, multitask, be efficient and organized. We expect regular participation and engagement in team meetings and skills development.

You will actively be contributing to ours and your own marketing and projects for your own business growth within our business. And happy to engage and interact with the local community, to introduce yourself and help build a solid referral network.

What we're after:

• A qualified Acupuncturist (AHPRA registered) with a friendly, patient-first approach
• Someone comfortable stepping into an existing caseload and making it their own
• A team player who enjoys being part of a collaborative clinic
• We care more about the right personality and approach than years of experience. New grads and experienced practitioners alike are welcome to apply

What you'll be supported by:

• Full-time reception, so you can focus on patients, not admin
• A genuinely friendly team; we currently have 17 team members of practitioners and reception staff
• Monthly team meetings run by our Director
• Ongoing guidance and mentoring as you settle in and build your caseload
• In-house marketing support and regular team social events

The details:

• Part-time: 3-4 days Tuesdays to Fridays
• Pay is % based on earnings
• Starting end of November (shadowing and then practicing)

What you'll need:

• AHPRA registration
• Ability to work unrestricted in Australia
• First Aid certificate
• Working With Children Check
• Professional insurance
