Acuvance - Public Relations Manager

The PR Manager is responsible for increasing the visibility of Acuvance and its consultants across the healthcare industry through speaking engagements, earned media, thought leadership, and timely industry commentary.

The PR Manager will create a dedicated thought leadership and earned-media engine designed to put Acuvance experts in front of healthcare executives and other key buyers more frequently and consistently.

The role focuses on four primary areas:

• Speaking: Secure opportunities for Acuvance consultants to speak at targeted healthcare conferences and industry events.

• Earned Media: Establish relationships with priority healthcare publications and position consultants as expert sources and authors.

• Rapid-Response Thought Leadership: Monitor industry developments and quickly activate consultants to provide relevant perspectives through social media, blogs, and media outreach.

• Corporate Communications: Support company announcements, press releases, corporate messaging, positioning, and other strategic communications.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field

• 3-5+ years of experience in public relations, media relations, communications, or a related role

• Demonstrated experience securing speaking opportunities, earned media coverage, contributed articles, or other thought leadership placements

• Experience in healthcare, professional services, consulting, or another complex B2B industry

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.

• Strong understanding of media relations, thought leadership, and conference speaker programs.

• Strong research skills and the ability to identify relevant industry events, publications, trends, and news opportunities.

• Ability to recognize compelling story angles and match subject matter experts with the right external opportunities.

• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to work directly with senior executives and experienced consultants.

• Self-directed, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of programs from research and idea development through execution.
