About Acast
Since 2014, Acast has been building the world’s most valuable podcast marketplace, creating the technology that connects podcast creators, advertisers, and listeners. Its marketplace spans more than 140,000 podcasts, 3,300 advertisers, and one billion quarterly listens. Crucially, those listens are monetized wherever they happen—across any podcast app or listening platform.

About the role
The Ad Operations team exists to ensure the flawless execution, pacing, and optimization of audio advertising campaigns across Acast’s expanding podcast ecosystem. Acting as the critical operational bridge between remote sales teams, advertisers, and content creators, this role creates value by protecting revenue, maximizing ad inventory efficiency, and delivering high-impact campaign reporting. Additionally, this position drives operational stability by navigating cross-time-zone collaboration, streamlining ad-server workflows, and managing complex billing and payout processes with precision.

What you'll do

Campaign Trafficking & Execution

  • Set up, launch, and monitor direct-sale and programmatic ad campaigns in the proprietary ad server.
  • Drive complete campaign delivery by tracking pacing and making real-time performance adjustments.

Inventory Management & Forecasting

  • Analyze and approve ad inventory forecasts to support Ad Sales team strategies.
  • Manage and optimize podcaster inventory settings, requests, and total availability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Regional Communication

  • Align operational workflows across remote locations and time zones, particularly with the Los Angeles sales team.
  • Bridge communications between advertisers, podcasters, and internal stakeholders to maintain seamless campaign operations.

Analytics & Performance Reporting

  • Generate detailed post-campaign analysis reports to demonstrate ROI to advertisers.
  • Utilize business intelligence tools to track performance metrics and deliver actionable recommendations for future campaigns.

Financial Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure all active and completed campaigns meet internal approval standards for accurate billing.
  • Reconcile campaign data to support finance and billing teams.

Who you are

  • Previous experience in ad-tech, publishing, sales or broadcast/podcast beneficial
  • You’re organized and know how to manage and prioritize your work.
  • You like to learn new tools and processes.
  • You are collaborative and like working as part of a team.
  • You have intermediate excel skills and you’re comfortable with business intelligence tools.

Location
While we do operate with a high degree of trust and flexibility for our employees, the expectation for this role is to be present in our SoHo office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Monday and Friday are generally remote days, though the office remains open for those who prefer to come in.

Compensation range $70,000- $75,000 per year + bonus
