Adaptive Skills Training (AST) Supervisor

Illuminate Minds is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Master’s-Level Adaptive Skills Training (AST) Supervisor to join our growing team! The AST Supervisor will oversee adaptive skills services for children, adolescents, and young adults with developmental disabilities and related needs throughout Los Angeles County.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision and support to AST staff and direct service providers
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized adaptive skill goals and treatment plans
• Conduct assessments, progress monitoring, parent consultations, and supervision sessions
• Collaborate with families, Regional Centers, schools, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure quality and consistency of services in accordance with agency and Regional Center standards
• Complete progress reports, supervision notes, and documentation in a timely manner
• Support staff training, mentorship, and program development

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Child Development, Special Education, ABA, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Experience supervising direct support staff and/or implementing adaptive skills programs
• Knowledge of Regional Center services and community-based interventions preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with adaptive functioning assessments and report writing
• Familiarity with behavior support strategies and parent coaching
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
