ADAS Engineer

We are looking for an ADAS Engineer with 3+ years of experience in automotive software, validation, or advanced driver assistance systems. The candidate must have strong technical knowledge of ADAS functions and be able to communicate in Japanese.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and validate ADAS functions
• Work on features such as ACC, AEB, LKA, LDW, parking assistance, and other driver assistance systems
• Analyze camera, radar, lidar, and vehicle sensor data
• Perform system testing, integration testing, and vehicle-level validation
• Prepare test cases, test plans, and technical reports
• Identify defects and support root cause analysis
• Work with software, hardware, testing, and vehicle engineering teams
• Communicate with customers and project teams in Japanese
• Support on-road, bench, HIL, or SIL testing as required

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in ADAS, automotive software, automotive testing, or vehicle system validation
• Experience with ADAS functions, sensors, or ECU systems
• Knowledge of camera, radar, lidar, CAN, or vehicle communication systems
• Experience in system testing, validation, integration, or defect analysis
• Familiarity with tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE, or similar tools is preferred
• Understanding of automotive standards and development processes
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional and international teams

Language Skills

• Japanese: Business level or above — mandatory
• English: Business level preferred

Preferred Skills

• Experience with HIL, SIL, MIL, or vehicle testing
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, or Automotive SPICE
• Experience with Python, C, C++, or test automation
• Experience working with Japanese automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers
