ADAS System Engineer (Automotive / Radar)

About the Role

Hitachi Digital Services is looking for an ADAS System Engineer to join our IoT engineering team in Ho Chi Minh City. In this role, you will analyze customer requirements, define system architecture, and coordinate across hardware, software, and testing teams to deliver advanced driver assistance and automotive radar solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer, functional, and system-level requirements for automotive applications.
• Define and document system architecture, interfaces, and technical specifications.
• Manage requirement traceability and baseline changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate closely between software development, hardware, and QA/testing pods.
• Support system integration, verification, and validation (V&V) activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven system engineering experience in Automotive or Embedded Systems.
• Strong background in requirement engineering, system architecture design, and interface definition.
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English (verbal and written).
• Preferred / Bonus: Experience with ADAS, Automotive Radar systems, Functional Safety (ISO 26262), ASPICE processes, and requirements management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS).
