ADMIN & ACCOUNT INTERN

About the role

Pericom Imaging Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Admin & Account Intern to join our team in Shah Alam, Selangor. This is an Intern position that offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical administrative and accounting skills within a dynamic business environment. You will work closely with our administration and accounting departments, gaining hands-on experience in day-to-day office operations and financial support tasks. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth functioning of our administrative processes and contributes directly to the operational efficiency of our organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the administration and accounting teams, including answering phones, managing emails and scheduling appointments
• Assist with data entry, filing and organisation of company documents and records
• Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders and other accounting documentation
• Support the reconciliation of accounts and assist in maintaining accurate financial records
• Conduct general office housekeeping tasks, including ordering supplies and maintaining organised work spaces
• Assist with customer inquiries and provide basic customer service support
• Support the preparation of reports and presentations as required by team members
• Perform ad-hoc administrative and accounting tasks to support the broader team

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree or diploma in Administration, Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles is advantageous
• Willingness to learn and develop professional skills in a business setting
• Reliability and punctuality in meeting deadlines
