Admin Assistant

Procurement & Purchasing

• Source and purchase materials, hardware, tools, consumables and office supplies
• Request and compare supplier quotations
• Prepare Purchase Orders and maintain purchasing records
• Liaise with suppliers on pricing, availability and delivery schedules
• Follow up on outstanding orders and ensure timely delivery
• Check Delivery Orders and supplier invoices
• Maintain proper documentation for purchases

General Administration

• Perform data entry and update records in Excel/company systems
• Handle filing and documentation
• Assist with general office administration and coordination
• Support the team with day-to-day administrative matters
• Assist with other ad-hoc duties when required

What we are looking for

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in administration, purchasing or procurement
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Organised, meticulous and able to follow up on tasks independently
• Comfortable dealing with suppliers and coordinating with different departments
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Purchasing experience in engineering, manufacturing or construction will be an advantage
