What they need
- Managing and organizing workshop documentation, including job cards, repair orders, and other essential records.
- Preparing regular reports on workshop activities, such as machine utilization, fuel consumption, and labor productivity.
- Ensuring all workshop activities are accurately recorded and entered into relevant systems.
- Creating and processing purchase requisitions for parts, materials, and outsourced services.
- Overseeing workshop inventory, including parts and consumables, and assisting with stock control and reordering.
- Assisting with scheduling jobs, coordinating vehicle collections and deliveries, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Supplying workshop managers with data and reports to support decision-making.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Handling customer queries and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Conducting regular tool audits to ensure proper maintenance and inventory.
- Identifying areas for improvement within the workshop's processes and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Managing workshop staff time and attendance records.
- Any ad-hoc tasks assigned from superior.
