Admin Assistant

About the role

This is a varied role where you'll play an important part in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. You'll work closely with sales and installation teams, assist with commercial projects and tenders, and help ensure customers receive excellent service from quotation through to installation.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing customer quotes and associated documentation
• Working through commercial tenders and preparing submissions
• Preparing and submitting compliance documents for commercial works
• Coordinating installation appointments
• Preparing and processing invoices
• Maintaining and working with Excel spreadsheets
• Liaising with customers, suppliers, builders and trades
• Supporting sales and installation teams

About you

• Experienced Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Great attention to detail
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
• A positive, team-focused attitude
• A friendly and professional approach with customers
• Previous administration experience
• Experience within the building, construction, home renovation or interior furnishings industry would be highly regarded
• Experience with quoting, tenders, plans, scheduling or trade-based businesses would be an advantage
