Admin Assistant – Ship Chandler Company

Location: Singapore

Employment Type: Full-time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Salary: $2000-$2300, depending on experience

About the Company

We are an established Singapore-based ship-chandler company serving ship owners, shipping agencies and vessels since 2002.

We are looking for a responsible and organised Admin Assistant to join our team and support our daily office and operations work.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle daily administrative and clerical duties
• Prepare quotations, invoices, purchase orders and delivery documents
• Process customer orders and update records
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and delivery personnel
• Answer phone calls and respond to emails
• Assist with coordinating deliveries and orders
• Perform data entry, filing and document management
• Assist the team with general office and administrative matters
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements

• GCE N/O-Level, ITE or equivalent
• Previous administrative experience is preferred, but candidates willing to learn are welcome
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good English communication skills
• Responsible, organised and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently
• Good time management and able to handle multiple tasks
• Positive attitude and willing to learn
