About the Role

Job SummaryResponsible for safely and efficiently transporting employees, documents, materials, and other authorized items while maintaining the assigned vehicle in good condition and supporting general administrative/logistics activities.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport employees, documents, materials, and other authorized items.
• Operate the assigned company vehicle responsibly and according to traffic regulations.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects or maintenance needs.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure proper servicing and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate vehicle/logbook, fuel, mileage, and trip records.
• Plan routes and ensure timely arrival at destinations.
• Assist with loading and unloading documents/materials when required.
• Report accidents, incidents, vehicle damage, or other issues immediately.
• Ensure vehicle documents, insurance, inspection, and licence requirements are valid.
• Follow company security and vehicle-use procedures.
• Provide general administrative/logistics support when required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in any relevant field - mandatory
• CSEE or equivalent qualification.
• Valid and appropriate driving licence.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably in a company, logistics, or industrial environment.
• Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• Good knowledge of local routes.
• Ability to communicate in English and/or Kiswahili.
• Good record-keeping skills.
• Reliable, punctual, honest, disciplined, and flexible.
• Willingness to work weekends or outside normal working hours when required.
