ADMIN EXECUTIVE / CLERK

About the role

Kuan Press Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Admin Executive to join our dynamic manufacturing team in the Kajang - Bangi - Serdang area of Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in optimising our production operations and ensuring efficient workflow across our manufacturing facility. As a key member of our production planning and scheduling department, you will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, meeting production targets, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Key responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain comprehensive production schedules that align with sales forecasts, customer orders, and resource availability
2. Monitor production progress daily and implement corrective actions to ensure adherence to schedules and deadlines
3. Coordinate with production, sales, and procurement teams to optimise material flow and minimise production delays
4. Analyse production data and key performance indicators to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements
5. Manage inventory levels and ensure adequate raw materials and components are available to support production needs
6. Prepare detailed production reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for management review
7. Liaise with quality assurance teams to ensure all products meet specified standards and customer requirements
8. Support capacity planning and resource allocation to maximise production efficiency
9. Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions to maintain operational continuity

What we're looking for

1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
2. 2-4 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar operational role within the manufacturing industry
3. Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
5. Excellent organisational and time management abilities with proven capability to manage multiple priorities
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
7. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all planning and reporting tasks
8. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable
9. Familiarity with ERP systems or manufacturing management software is an advantage
