Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor daily attendance through biometric/ERP systems for permanent employees, trainees, and contract workforce; ensure accurate punch-in/punch-out records.
• Process monthly attendance data for payroll input, including overtime, leave, absenteeism, and late-coming records within defined timelines.
• Maintain leave records (CL/SL/EL/PL) as per company policy and Factories Act, and ensure timely leave approvals and encashment processing.
• Coordinate daily manpower planning and deployment across departments/shifts in line with production requirements, including contract labour headcount.
• Liaise with manpower/staffing contractors for daily availability, deployment, and replacement of contract workers; verify contractor attendance and billing against actual deployment.
• Support statutory compliance filings and liaison with local authorities/government offices as required for factory administration.
• Assist HR/ER team in employee engagement activities, notices, communication displays, and grievance-related documentation as needed.
• Support internal and external audits (ISO, customer, statutory) related to time office, attendance, and administration records.

Preferred candidate profile

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Time Office, Administration, or Workforce Management, preferably in a biscuit/bakery/FMCG or food manufacturing plant.
• Prior exposure to handling contract labour compliance (CLRA) and multi-shift factory operations preferred.
• Willingness to work in a shop-floor-facing role with flexibility for shift-based support when required.
• Working knowleedge in Word & Excel is a must.
