Admin Officer

About the role

You will assist customers, manage payment and transaction records, and support operations to ensure smooth on weekend scrap yard activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist new customers at counters by providing clear information about services and answering inquiries
• Answer reception phone calls promptly and professionally
• Reconcile operations weighing details with weighbridge records to ensure accuracy
• Retrieve or create customer profiles in the system to generate payment vouchers
• Verify payment details for accuracy and initiate or confirm authentication approvals
• Address customer issues and relay feedback to management for service improvements
• Maintain accurate digital and physical records of all transactions
• Regularly update customer and transaction data to ensure reliability and completeness
• Communicate clearly and effectively with operations team, drivers, and management to support smooth workflow
• Provide general administrative support for office consumables

About you

• Ability to work on weekend and off on weekdays
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Proficiency in basic computer applications
