What they need

About us
Access to Therapy is a paediatric allied health practice in Springfield. We provide speech pathology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, dietetics and early childhood intervention teaching to families across Ipswich, Springfield and Logan. Our mission is simple: access, empathy and hope for every child and family we work with.

We're growing, and we're looking for a friendly, organised Administration Officer to join our front desk team.

About the role

  • Part-time, [Thursday and Friday (with the option of Wednesday), 8:30am–4:00pm]
  • Location: willing to work in Springfield or Raceview (clinic launching in November)
  • You'll work closely with our Administration Coordinator to give families and clinicians a smooth experience every day

What you'll do

  • Welcome families in the clinic and answer phone and email enquiries warmly and professionally
  • Book, reschedule and confirm appointments in our clinical software, and manage waitlists
  • Coordinate appointments with kindies, daycares and schools, including access forms
  • Process invoices, payments and Medicare rebates, and follow up outstanding accounts
  • Support NDIS administration, including service agreements and plan-managed invoicing
  • Order supplies and help with onboarding tasks for new staff
  • Suggest and help put in place better ways of doing things

About you

  • Not essential but helpful - experience in reception or administration, ideally in health, allied health or a medical practice

  • Clear, kind communication with families, including when things are stressful

  • Organised, accurate and able to juggle priorities

  • Understanding of NDIS and Medicare billing is highly regarded but not essential

  • Team player

What we offer

  • A supportive, values-driven team that appreciates great admin
  • Stable, family-friendly part-time hours
  • Room to grow as the practice expands
  • Meaningful work supporting children and families in our local community
