ADMIN / OPERATIONS ASSISTANT – FMCG

Job Description:

Prima Asia Sdn Bhd is looking for a responsible and organised Admin / Operations Assistant to support the daily operations of our FMCG distribution business.

This position is suitable for fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of working experience who are willing to learn and grow with the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, arrange and maintain invoices, delivery orders (DO), purchase orders and other sales documents
• Coordinate daily deliveries with lorry drivers and warehouse/store staff
• Plan and arrange daily delivery routes for drivers to ensure efficient and timely deliveries
• Communicate with sales staff regarding customer orders and delivery requirements
• Follow up on delivery status and inform the relevant team of any delays or issues
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of invoices, DOs and other company records
• Assist in updating basic sales, delivery and stock records
• Coordinate with customers when required regarding delivery arrangements
• Assist management with general administrative and operational duties
• Perform other related office duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM / Diploma or equivalent
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (training will be provided)
• Basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel, Word and email
• Able to communicate clearly with drivers, warehouse staff, sales staff and customers
• Organised and able to handle several tasks at the same time
• Responsible, punctual and willing to learn
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Basic knowledge of Klang Valley roads and delivery areas will be an advantage
• Previous experience in FMCG, logistics, distribution, warehouse or administration will be an advantage but is not compulsory

What We Are Looking For

• We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and organised. You should be comfortable handling paperwork as well as coordinating with drivers and other team members.
• This is not purely a desk-based administrative position. The successful candidate will play an important role in making sure orders, invoices and daily deliveries are properly coordinated and completed on time.

Salary: RM2,200 – RM2,500 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
