Admin Purchasing Executive

The Role

As a Purchasing Executive, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring that raw materials and components are sourced efficiently to meet our production schedules. You will play a critical role in cost management and supplier relationship development.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Procurement: Execute purchase orders for raw materials, machinery parts, and consumables based on production requirements.
• Supplier Management: Evaluate, select, and negotiate with vendors to ensure competitive pricing, high quality, and timely delivery.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels closely to prevent shortages or overstocking, coordinating with the Warehouse and Production teams.
• Cost Optimization: Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate purchasing records, manage shipping documents, and ensure all activities comply with ISO standards and company policies.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in procurement/purchasing, specifically within the manufacturing industry.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and MS Excel.

• Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of managing supplier performance.

• Attributes: Highly organized, analytical, and able to work under pressure to meet tight production deadlines.
