Admin Purchasing (FnB)

Experience

• Fresh graduates may be considered for junior/admin-level purchasing roles
• 1–3 years of experience preferred, ideally in F&B, hospitality, retail, or FMCG purchasing/procurement
• Experience with vendor/supplier management and inventory systems is a plus

Core Skills & Competencies

• Administrative skills – accurate data entry, filing, and documentation (PO, invoices, delivery orders/DO)
• Purchasing process knowledge – creating Purchase Orders (PO), price comparison, vendor negotiation basics
• Inventory & stock management – monitoring stock levels, reorder points, expiry dates (critical in F&B due to perishables)
• Microsoft Office proficiency – especially Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables for tracking orders/costs)
• Basic accounting/finance understanding – reconciling invoices with deliveries, budgeting awareness
• Attention to detail – critical for avoiding order errors, cost discrepancies, and short-dated stock
• Communication & negotiation – liaising with suppliers/vendors for pricing, delivery schedules, and quality issues
• Familiarity with POS/inventory software (e.g., SAP, Accurate, or F&B-specific systems) is a strong plus
