Admin Receptionist

About the role

This is a receptionist, office administrator and customer service coordinator role for a growing garage door, gate and automation service business. This is much more than simply answering phones. You will become an important part of day-to-day operations and grow into the role. The position will initially commence on a casual basis for approximately three months while training is completed and suitability is assessed. For the right person, the intention is to progress into a permanent full-time position with greater responsibility and opportunities as the business continues to grow.

Key responsibilities

• Answering incoming calls professionally and confidently
• Booking and scheduling service calls, repairs and installations
• Allocating and coordinating jobs with technicians
• Managing calendars and appointments
• Following up customers, quotes, bookings and outstanding jobs
• Responding to emails, SMS and online enquiries
• Monitoring new leads and ensuring they are actioned quickly
• Customer service and complaint handling
• Data entry and maintaining accurate customer and job records
• Preparing quotes, invoices and general documentation

• Exceptional telephone and customer service skills
• Strong computer and typing skills
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a busy service environment
• Confidence dealing with customers and tradespeople
• Initiative and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• A willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
