About the Opportunity…
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you’ll take responsibility for coordinating and strengthening administration, business support and operational functions across WASH House locations.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can see both the detail and the bigger picture. You’ll oversee day-to-day administrative operations while also looking for opportunities to improve systems, introduce more consistent processes and strengthen the organisation’s governance and compliance practices.

You’ll work closely with the Executive Director and Leadership Team, while providing leadership, guidance and support to administration staff. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy, so you’ll be trusted to use your judgement, identify what needs attention and develop practical solutions.

The details…

  • SCHADS Award Level 6
  • Mount Druitt location

About the organisation…

The organisation has an unwavering commitment to its mission to diminish the effects of poverty, social inequality, and violence, empowering the lives of women.
Services provided include information and referral, case support and case management, skill building and therapeutic groups, advocacy and various community development activities.

The organisation is dedicated to strengthening its community development approaches by fostering greater collaboration, inclusivity, and empowerment within local community. Through targeted programs that focus on education, social inclusion, and safety, WASH House works to build sustainable, resilient communities.

The organisation’s outreach efforts, community partnerships, and grassroots initiatives aim to ensure that resources are accessible to women and their families, while also encouraging active participation and leadership from within the community.

What you’ll need to succeed…
You’ll be well suited to this position if you’re an experienced administration or business support professional who enjoys bringing structure to a busy organisation, improving the way things work and helping others operate effectively.

You’re someone who takes ownership, uses initiative and can confidently move between operational detail and broader organisational priorities. You’ll be comfortable working with senior leaders, supporting staff and managing multiple priorities without losing sight of accuracy, deadlines or follow-through.
