The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated CNC Programmer/Setter to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating multi-axis CNC lathes to manufacture precision components that meet customer specifications and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set, and operate CNC lathes
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and 3D models
• Select appropriate tooling, workholding solutions, and machining parameters
• Perform first-off inspections and verify product conformance
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain exceptional manufacturing standards

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• A trade qualification in Fitting and Turning or a related discipline
• Strong experience in CNC lathe programming and machine setup
• A commitment to producing high-quality work with attention to detail
• The ability to accurately interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Well-developed communication and problem-solving skills
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to producing quality work are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment.

Highly Regarded Skills

The following experience will be viewed favourably:

• Mastercam programming experience
• Siemens NX experience
