About Connect4U Australia

Connect4U Australia is a dynamic organisation working within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). We are passionate about supporting people with disability to exercise choice and control and to build their capacity to live the life they choose.

Our team comes from a diverse range of professional and personal backgrounds, and we recognise that our people are central to the quality of the services we provide.

We are looking for an organised, reliable and enthusiastic Administration Officer to join our team.

About the Role

This is a varied administration position providing day-to-day support across the organisation. You will work closely with management and staff and assist with administration, client communications, systems, compliance, quality assurance and general business operations.

There is some flexibility with the days and hours of work. The successful applicant will work to a consistent, agreed schedule. The successful applicant will work 30 to 38 hours per week, over a minimum of four days, maximum of five days

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing general email and telephone enquiries.
  • Data entry and maintenance of client and CRM systems.
  • Maintaining electronic records, Microsoft OneDrive folders and cloud-based filing systems.
  • Assisting staff with general systems and administrative support.
  • Supporting compliance, audit and quality-assurance activities.
  • Assisting with business improvement initiatives.
  • Assisting with communications, website, social media and other marketing activities.
  • Supporting bookkeeping and accounts administration through preparation and maintenance of relevant files and records.
  • Preparing for meetings and assisting with documentation.
  • Filing, record keeping, stationery ordering and other general office administration duties.

These responsibilities reflect the broad administrative, systems, compliance, marketing and bookkeeping support functions contained in the current Administration Officer role description.

About You

We are looking for someone who enjoys administration, takes pride in their work and can confidently manage competing priorities in a busy office environment.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

  • At least one year of office administration experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being comfortable working independently.
  • A professional, positive and solutions-focused approach.

These attributes are consistent with the skills identified in Connect4U Australia's existing Administration Officer role description.

Desirable

Experience within the disability, community services or NDIS sector would be highly regarded but is not essential.

Knowledge of the NDIS and disability-related issues, including relevant lived experience, is also welcomed.

Remuneration and Hours

The position will be classified under the Clerks – Private Sector Award, Level 2, with applicable pay and employment conditions in accordance with the Award.

This role may particularly suit someone looking for flexibility in their working week while still wanting to be an integral part of a growing organisation.

How to Apply

Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your administration experience, your preferred days and hours of work, and why you are interested in joining Connect4U Australia.

Applications from people with lived experience of disability are welcomed.
