What they need
Looking to gain practical office experience and build skills for your future career?
We’re offering a paid Administration Internship within our Young Brands team, helping us process children’s creative work, including entries for Young Artists.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in data inputting, scanning, cropping and basic image retouching, while learning how we prepare entries for the next stage of the process.
No previous office or image editing experience is needed. We’re looking for someone who is reliable, comfortable using computers and keen to learn. Full training and support will be provided.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your placement will involve a mixture of:
- Data inputting – entering information accurately into our systems and checking details.
- Scanning artwork – creating clear digital copies of Young Artists entries.
- Cropping and image retouching – preparing scanned artwork using our software and following guidelines.
- Checking entries – making sure images and information are complete and correctly matched.
- General administration – helping the team organise and process entries.
Some tasks are repetitive and require steady concentration. This placement would suit someone who enjoys working methodically, notices small details and takes pride in getting things right.
What You’ll Learn
You’ll develop practical skills in:
- Using databases and image editing software.
- Handling information accurately and spotting errors.
- Preparing artwork and organising digital files.
- Managing your time and working towards deadlines.
- Communicating and working as part of a busy team.
You’ll be supported by experienced colleagues as your skills and confidence develop.
Who We’re Looking For

- Is comfortable using computers and learning new systems.
- Has good attention to detail.
- Can stay focused when completing repetitive tasks.
- Is organised and able to follow instructions.
- Is reliable, friendly and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Is willing to ask questions and learn from feedback.
